Matswapati

Hi friends, this time I will tell you about Matswapati. Matswapati is a cultural festival in celebrating the anniversary of Bandung.
In the morning, we did a parade around town with different dress code every class. My class dress code is a black t-shirt with a batik’s shawl or scarf for women and "iket" for men. Then, Peye, Kirana, and Rian became a mascot and wearing traditional dresses from Sunda.

The parade starts from 7 pm. And starts from Bali Street, and then to Merdeka Street, Jawa Street, and back to Bali Street.

Many extracurricular appear there. Like MK, KV, TST, KPA, and others. Their performance was very amazing. There, I also take pictures with my friends. And I was lucky to get a photo with someone. Because, my other friends who also want to take pictures with him didn’t get it.

Most of the food available there is a traditional food from Bandung. Although, not a few who sell food like kebabs and "gado-gado".I had a little interview to one of the traders about profits that she got today. The trader said, "Many people are coming. So, many people who buy food here. I got a lot of profits". The price of food there are also quite cheap and very diverse.

In the evening, there Barsena Besthandi. I think his performance was riveting. I was satisfied with his performance. He used knee-length short and a black shirt. I think, Barsena’s voice was so wonderful and I love it so much. After that, it's Glenn's time. The most eagerly awaited show in Matswapati. I stood in front to get a better look of Glenn. Because Glenn performed at night, my friend sells glow in the dark light stick which can be used as a bracelet. Many people bought it.

Glenn looks very cool and I love it. Although, I did not watch until the end of the show because I had to go for a family affair. But I'm happy to enjoy a little of Glenn appearances. Especially when the song is titled Terserah and Malaikat Juga Tahu. I sing as loud as with my friends.

Unforgettable Experience

Last year I stayed for 2 days at Villa Osmond Lembang with my classmates. Osmond was very beautiful because it is located on a hilltop and the air is cool. The facilities were very comfortable. There is a pool table, badminton court, swimming pool, karaoke, and some spacious bedrooms.

The first day, we swam. After swimming, we showered and took a rest in the bedroom. We talked about what we liked and some funny experiences that we have ever experienced before. After that we chose for karaoke. We never heard or even know the songs that available there. Because almost all of them are old songs. So we prefer to play billiards. The pool table was in the middle of the garden. We played by turns while enjoying the view. It was night, we returned to the villa and have dinner together. We held a mini concert and invited our homeroom. I played piano. There is also someone who read a poetry. We also made a parody of Indonesia’s boy band and girl band. We tried to mimic their dance even though we are not good at dancing. After the show was finished, we played in the courtyard. The air is very cold outside. But without realizing, we played outside until 2 am. Because hungry, we cooked noodles and watching television in the living room. We went to sleep at 3 am.

The next day, we woke up early and take a walk around the villa. After that we played badminton. Then, we took a bath and played in the garden near the pool. One of my friends was sitting on the edge of the pool and my other friends pushed him down into the pool. He was soaking wet and his cell phone error because it submerged in water. We laughed it off. He had his revenge and encourage other friends into the pool. We ran to escape. After that, we had breakfast together. We took some pictures in all places in the villa. This is one of my unforgettable experience. After we checked out of the villa, one of my friends was tinkering with his motorcycle. Apparently, he forgot to bring the key to open the lock on the motorcylce tire. He have to go home with another friend’s car. He left his motorcycle at the villa and back to the house to take the key. After that, we didn’t go straight home. We ate in Kampung Bakso. After full, we went home respectively. And I'm not going to forget 2 days with them, because this moment probably will not happen twice.

She likes all food except ati, ampela, and jengkol. And all the food that tastes bitter. She said, jengkol is the most freak food ever. Yes, I agree! I don’t know why old people likes eat jengkol. It doesn’t have a good taste and the smell is so strong.

She loves watching a movie, reading a novel/comic, and hanging out. In her bedroom, there’s so many ‘post it’ paper in the table. She wrote everything to motivate herself. She wants to continue studying in Universitas Padjadjaran, me too. I wish we can make it come true. I hope so.
